Mikel Coffee Turkey's head office building in Yenibosna was designed by Lift Studio. In the project completed in 2021, ASPEN created solutions that make a difference in office interior design with its contemporary and innovative suspended ceiling and partition wall products.
Mikel Coffee Design Consept
Mikel Coffee Company, an international coffee store chain, has acted with a design approach that will maintain its global identity and innovative approach in the sector while desinging its head office building. Most of the office has set out with the idea of creating a spacious environment and ensuring spatial continuity because of it has to be located in a basement floor of 1000 m2 that is not exposed to light.

Space Layout
While settling in the space, open-plan and cell-plan settlements were preferred according to this design approach. Departments and open working areas were located, after the indoor areas such as the general manager's room, manager's rooms and meeting rooms were placed. It is desired that the spaces become transparent and add depth to the volumes. A pleasant and comfortable environment has been created by adding resting environments between the working spaces.
A working environment has been created with the open-plan layout where communication opportunities are increased. The creation of spacious and flexible working environments has had an impact on the comfort and productivity of employees. In the cell-structured settlement, the areas are separated according to their functions and the volumes that require privacy are grouped. The use of INTEGRA and SEPERA systems has yielded effective results in this respect.

The Used Products
It is desired to create aesthetic and comfortable environments by offering stylish and creative architectural solutions in design. INTEGRA Plank metal suspended ceiling systems used for this purpose and they have created a clean and contemporary appearance by hiding the mechanical systems on the ceiling. With the INTEGRA Linear Baffle System applied in open working areas, a unique and modern environment has been created in office areas.
The areas to be used for meetings and private works are separated by partition walls. The use of SEPERA SG-40 modular partition wall systems allowed the creation of the transparent environment desired by the designers. An elegant and contemporary atmosphere is created by using the jointed SEPERA DM-106 system in the areas where privacy and high sound insulation are required in office environments.
