Trendyol, one of the largest e-commerce sites in Turkey, continues its working life with its Trendyol Campus office in an area designed as a mini-shopping center at the bottom of Maslak Spine Tower. The office, which has been implemented with the signature of Erginoglu & Calislar Architecture, promises its employees a comfortable working life by incorporating the next generation of trends into its structure.
Innovative approaches include designs aimed at ensuring performance improvement in office layouts without distracting employees. Since we spend most of our days at work, working conditions and comfort items provided to us are now of great importance. At the same time, company policy, corporate identity, and the way the brand expresses itself are also one of the important items to be considered when implementing the design.
Trendyol is a company that attaches importance to transparency policy and strong communication decits hundreds of employees consisting of young and dynamic teams.
When implementing the project, the designers of the office, instead of designing special rooms for managers, created large-scale open workspaces where all teams could work together. the project architects, who decided that the most effective way to solve the circulation of the office, which spans a large area of 5 floors, is to connect all the work areas with each other with a ramp, note that they consider this ramp to be the backbone of the structure.
Considering the large number of employees and the density of people at the entrance to the skyscraper, a special entrance to Trendyol Campus was designed with a gap opened on the facade of the building. The landscaping of the entrance and the directions to the office have been evaluated to reflect the Trendyol.
In the new generation of office trends, employees do not have to stay in one space to relax or socialize. Trendyol Campus, which offers its employees alternatives to social spaces to spend time in different functions and concepts, has many independent areas consisting of mezzanine floors. You can also switch to these areas where you can conduct your individual interviews to continue your work or organize your short meetings.
One of the promises of companies for comfort aimed at improving the performance of their employees is gyms. Located on the dec floor of Trendyol Campus along with the cafeteria and conference rooms, the gyms are designed for employees to easily perform activities after work or during lunch.
By placing cushions on the stair steps of the training and conference areas located on the same floor as the gyms, a dynamic cinema hall connotation has also been created. All of these areas within Trendyol Campus are designed in such a way that they can all be integrated into each other and turned into purpose-built.
Another element that is as important as office arrangements in working life is the ergonomics of office furniture. The tables used here are designed to keep up with a different form and working style at any time in accordance with the general atmosphere of the office. The choice of architects who take care to make design preferences that can show flexibility according to the increase in the number of employees is the working units they call Cumulus in this project. In addition, employees who need to come together for short-term joint work can easily join the team at the table dec Particular care has been taken to ensure that there are no physical obstacles such as table legs that may pose a problem when there is an increase in the number of employees.
Considering the requirements of the company's technology department, a different seating arrangement has been set up according to their working systems. In a U-shaped seating arrangement, special rail surface systems and short meeting areas have been set up for each of the teams working in groups of 8-10 people.
The Trendyol Campus project, which Erginoglu & Calislar Architecture has added to its unique projects created in the field of corporate identity, was completed in a year, and in this project, ASPEN's Integra Expanded Hook-on, Linear Baffle System B, Plank Hook-on Corridor and Luminer Metal Baffle LED and Box Line products were preferred.
